ABOUT US
Cartubi spans an area of 62.000 square meters divided into:
– 47,000 square meters of open areas, yards, and docks
– 15,000 square meters of covered and built-up areas, which house equipped workshops for carpentry, piping, and mechanical work, as well as the materials warehouse.
Our slipway has a capacity of up to 50,000 tonnes and can accommodate vessels up to 200 meters in length.
Cartubi also has 5 overhead rail-mounted tower cranes with a lifting capacity of up to 60 tonnes each.
As for hull works, Cartubi routinely uses the dry docks of Fincantieri and Ocean in Trieste, with which it has had a mutually collaborative relationship for many years.

The equipment allows us to confidently undertake carpentry work: cutting, bending, shaping (the shipyard is equipped with 300-ton presses), and welding on: Sheets, profiles, and piping commonly used in our activities.
Cartubi performs mechanical machining on CNC machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, planers, broaching machines, grinding machines, and boring machines.
Cartubi‘s direct resources consist of over 70 individuals, including technicians and workers, and it collaborates with specialized companies and firms in naval and general motor mechanics, painting, electromechanics, and other services, with which it has been working for many years, resulting in a total workforce of 400 individuals divided into various specializations
