Working on the historic crane barge Ursus was both exciting and challenging. This impressive structure, over a century old, vividly represents Trieste’s shipbuilding heritage. With its remarkable versatility and load capacity, it has contributed to some of the most significant projects developed in the city’s shipyards. Today, we share with you a video showcasing the main features of Ursus and the stages of our restoration and maintenance work. This project has been technically demanding, and now that it’s completed, we are fully satisfied with the results. Cartubi proves itself not only capable of handling complex challenges in the naval refitting sector but also playing an important role in preserving the history and traditions of Trieste’s shipbuilding industry.
